Drug Uses
Colchicine is used to luxury attacks of gout.
How Taken
Take every dose of Colchicine with an occupied glass of water. You may take this medicine up to once each hour awaiting the pain is relieved, until the maximum quantity of medicine has been in use, or until nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea occurs. To prevent an assault from happening, you may take Colchicine each day or more than a few days a week. Do not take more doses than your doctor prescribed.
Warnings/Precautions
Do not take Colchicine without first talking to your doctor if you are breast-feeding a baby. Talk to your doctor if you are or chart on becoming pregnant as this medicine may have damaging effects on the unborn baby.
Missed Dose
If you miss a dose, use it as almost immediately as you keep in mind. If it is near the time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing timetable. Do not double the dose to catch up.
Possible Side Effects
Some of the side effects that may happen while taking Colchicine include: complexity breathing; finishing of your throat; swelling of your lips, tongue, or face; fever; rash; numbness or tingling.
Storage
Store Colchicine at room temperature away from moisture and heat. Keep out of the arrive at of kids.
Overdose
Symptoms of a colchicine overeat include nausea; vomiting; stomach pain; diarrhea; muscle weakness; burning in your throat, stomach, or skin; complexity breathing; delirium; and seizures. An overeat of colchicine can effect in death. If you suppose an overeat, seek urgent medical attention.
